Awning Pros use a number of different methods for application of
graphics. For backlit awnings, we use the eradication process. The
process of eradication involves reverse masking the areas where there
will be graphics, then using eradication fluid to remove the color
from the fabric on those areas. This allows the eradicated letter
and/or graphics to illuminate when backlit. For graphics on acrylic
fabrics such as Sunbrella, we can either paint or use a heat transfer
of vinyl graphics. Both methods result in a clean professional appearance.
